  1. Server down due to update issue

    As many of you know, Valve has changed over to the SteamPipe system for their games. This has caused some headaches in the moding world, and now the hosting world as well.

    With this change over Valve has moved away from the HLDSUpdateTool to the new SteamCMD tool. As of now the HLDS tool will no longer update the server to the current version of GMod.

    I am now working with our hoster to get the new tool configured correctly. This should not take that long, so the servers should be back up soon.

    The Dev server will be back up either tonight or sometime this weekend since its not a high priority at the moment.

     

    Update: 6/7/2013 9:50AM

    Progress, but slow. The server will start up now and the database has been moved to the new folder. The reason for the delay is that with SteamPipe, everything is now placed in different folders. I am currently working with the hoster to get the game content uploaded and everything in its correct place.

  2. PostNukeRP r111 Community Patch

    Fixed some issues dealing with the communities in r111. There were alot of unforsean issues that resulted from the Ally/War system

     

    Patch Notes: r111

    1. Fixed Error keeping people from opening the Community Window (nil oCID Error)
    2. Fixed Unable to open empty communities in Admin Menu
    3. Fixed unable to open communities in Admin Menu with missing oCID’s
    4. Fixed Player Community info not getting reset when a player leave a community
    5. Disbanding a community will now remove itself from other community diplomacy
    6. Orphaned Communities still in Community Diplomacy now shows a error indicating
      it needs to be canceled.
    7. Fixed being able to war yourself when you die

  3. PostNukeRP Current Status

    GMod Updates 162-163 have broken a couple of things that are not related to PNRP.

    You may experience error spam at times while connected to any GMod servers, such as upon joining, or while playing until an update gets released. This does not affect the gamemode itself, the server is functioning and you can continue to play normally.

    Some maps have been removed.

    We have temporarily pulled some maps from the maps list, such as pn_downcast, pn_downcast_night, rp_salvation, and rp_salvation_night. It is unlikely that rp_salvation will be re-added as it is no longer available on garrysmod.org and it cannot be found on the steam workshop. That, and it is not a very well optimized map. Downcast, night and day versions will be re-added as soon as a problem with the terrain becomes resolved.

  4. PostNukeRP r110

    Some bug fixes and a whole new system. Community War/Ally system

    Once we are sure there are no bugs we will merg the code for 1.3.0

    Patch notes:

    1. Fixed bug with grid imports
    2. Removed Holo FX from Display Items
    3. Fixed issues with several community menus
    4. Fixed some issues with duplicate menus
    5. Community Window now does partial page refresh
    6. Added Community War/Ally system
    7. Added Recursive war system
    8. Added Community Pending system
    9. Added Community Buddy system
    10. Added Ally Buddy System
    11. Added Death Bonuses for communities at war

  5. PostNukeRP r106 and r107

    Few items for these updates.

    r106:

    1. Added new Gas system (Will also affect Wire vehicles as well) Pickup a gas can with E and press R while next to Car

    r107:

    1. Added Bird Pets
    2. Added Bird Pet Event (its silent so keep a eye out for them)
    3. Improved some of the Pet AI
    4. Fixed Active toggle in the Admin Events Window

     

    One note on the Events Menu, this fix auto detects variables that are set as tue or false and will show a check box for it. If you have the Event Menu Patch allready, you may need to either edit the file and replace the number with true/false or delete the file and reload the map.

    The Events save files are in your data/PostNukeRP/events folder

  6. PostNukeRP r103 and r104

    Two new items uploaded to the Live Server

    Flair Guns and Vendor Display Items.

    Falir guns are pretty obvious. You craft them from a workbench, and they are one shot per use. Even works on foggy maps.

    Display Items are spawned from a Vendor. Players can acually use the item to purchase the item from the vendor. You also dont have to worry about any risk with these either.

     

    Haev fun.

  7. Garrys Mod Update 160 Issues

    Few Issues have come up with Garrys Mod 160

    1. Blue screen after the game loads and does not fully load.

    • open steam\steamapps\yourname\garrysmod\garrysmod\cfg\mountdepots.txt and remove all the games listed
    • Open Garrys Mod and remount your games.

    2. Missing models on the map

    • Still looking into this. You may need to do the above fix. It might help

    3. Guns firing to fast

    • Looking into this, we should have a fix soon.
