okay i'm making this post to warn people not to get him banned


I would like to tell you all that the player Labor Camp may RDM you he likes to metagame and apparently be a hired hitman while engi
So today i was just doing fine lalala in my base at the Cemetry and all of the sudden i fall down dead to the sound of a UMP. i go to investigate and i find someone all alone at the blown apart gas station named "Labor Camp" he has an UMP. i say "You?" and he immediatly pulls an ump on me and opens fire I barely got into my car i tried to run him over but got to 9hp and called it quits and drove off. i warned everyone through OOC and asked him "why did you kill me?" ---yadadada i will put the console up in here just to show you people

Uh, while Mr. Testing there does seem to come off as a bit... judgmental, harsh, and immature, I can attest that Flying John was over-reacting a bit tonight. As you can see from the chat, I was in the server too and had a minor role in all of this. I don't think either Flying John OR Labor Camp really did anything wrong, they were both just having fun and then what started off as an innocent remark turned into a huge argument affecting the entire server, which consequently resulted in this forum post.

Wow, all I can say is that this is pointless drama, and lots of crap was said in the heat of the moment that didn't matter and no one is gonna care tomorrow so we're moving past the tiny little crap.

What I know about Labor Camp's contract killing is that it conflicts with Rule 5: Do not minge or rdm, killing for a reason is allowed. Abuse of this is a ban. Contract killing over and over is abuse of the rule. Maybe one contract kill for a legit reason --not for a statement made in OOC (OUT OF CHARACTURE CHAT, it's OUT OF CHARACTURE, and not in the roleplay)-- is allowed, but then you must stop so you don't conflict with the rules or piss people off because that's not a good idea.

Out of characture chat is not meant to be used long distances as Labor Camp said. You need to keep it within the voice limiter for roleplaying. BUY a radio!

Labor camp was coming off REALLY STRONG, so he's definitely got something wrong there.. there's a saying from Shakespeare: "Me thinks he doth protest too much." I think that his behavior is unacceptable..typical trolling.

As for your ban request of Labor Camp I will have to speak with the owners about it. He was acting very rude and obnoxious from what I read in the chat log you provided.

About the idiot who posted.. ignore him. He's got some nerve. Coming on our forum, making up bullshit about John, as he's a good player. He'll probably get IP banned.

Few things.

I edited testings post, and banned his email and such. I have posted it I dont know how many times. I am tired of drama posts, and his was onyl geared to be offensive and non constructive. Any rate, not going into it, just anyone who does that crap like he did gets banned.

As for Labor Camp, Crazy has touched on alot of this. OOC is for out of character. If you need to communicate over a large distance, use a radio, they are cheap and anyone can build one.

I have sugested a day ban, not a perma for Labor. The hart of what he was doing is NOT RDM. The thing i take issue with is the OOC and KOSing (Kill On Site)
When you do a contract kill, thats fine. But its only a single kill. By RP standards, once the person is dead, the contract has been filled.
Killing the same person over and over again is Kill On Site. KOS is generally done with Wars, and not contract killing.

Everyone else, just becouse someone kills you, does not always mean its RDM. I do take a look at the logs from time to time, and I have lost count of how many times I see "RDM I am gona report you" when it turned out the person was tresspassing.

Everyone else who does kill other player, keep this in mine, by killing others you have to be carfull. Its a fine line sometimes between killing for a valid reason and grieffing/RDM.
