[PNRP] Gamemode Development

Seen this come up a few times.

Question: Is there a back story?
Answer: Yes

Question: What is it?
Answer: Not telling

Acaully there is a back story, but we will not be telling it directly, we plan to hint at it through Events and such before we release the full story.

We're trying to stay with story being subtle. Others who run PNRP servers need to be able to have their OWN origin stories and such. This is just the one we randomly came up with when working on the gamemode. The events that hint at the story can always be edited/removed by server owners.

I prefer this to just knowing the story, gives a nice bit of mystery. It's fun then when you gradually find out more and more through different actions/events. It reminds me of how TF2 handles it's stories/origins.

TF2 origins, I remember when TF first came out and I used to play on it using something call MPlayer (Before Gamespy got a strong following).

Uhm, ya. way before hats, collectionsm TF2 in general, and the popularity of Gamespy. Acually before Steam as well.
