If the Hellsing and Tihar were to be somehow implimented their range would be extremely limited. They're pneumatic weapons. They fire darts/little ball bearings (respectively) using compressed air. Not sure if these would even scratch things like Antlions and Antlion Guards. They're what I like to call Weapons of Neccessity, not power.

well... they could make it so u have to make the darts 1 by 1 and have them be poisonous to antlions and have it deteriorate zombies like you could choose which dart to make then the air could be infinite because it could just have a long ass load time but like 30-40 shots per reload. darts would be shot 1 by 1 yes i got QUITE into detail because of my imagination but o'well

I believe the idea of a good old fashioned, double barrled shotgun would be GREAT. It fits the pnrp theme too, considering its one of the most commonly seen and recognized shotguns
