Don't Give Up The Ship!

I just want to start this post out by saying I have massive respect for PostnukeRP, how far it's came, and the fact it's official server is still running....
Seriously, any of the servers I added to my favorites years ago no longer exist..... EXCEPT PostNukeRP

So I like to think of it's server as the one that's been around the block, the one that's been through thick and thin, the one that has came a LOOOoooong way.

That being said, there hasn't been much development lately, there was one small bug fix a few months ago and that's about it in the past half a year, and not much more in the past whole year.
You really have to go back to like July of last year before you see anything major, and that really depresses me.

In the War of 1812, the dying words of James Lawrence were "Don't Give Up the Ship!" later Oliver Hazard Perry flew this quote on a flag when he had a decisive victory over the British at the Battle of Lake Erie
And my challenge this community and it's development staff is to not give up "our ship"

So don't let this gamemode die.
Don't let this community die.
Don't let your progress die.

I'd really like to see new development, I can understand if development staff is busy, but I'm just saying to not abandon/forget it.

I'f there is anything I could help with, I'd be glad to, but I want to see good things from PostNukeRP
(I'm not very skilled with video-game/mod development, but I know some basics, I'm a decent learner, I know a thing or two, and I want to know more)

So, my final word to PostNukeRP Players, Staff, Developers, and any other Community Members is.....

DON'T GIVE UP THE SHIP!

P.S.- I also haven't forgotten about the CyberpunkRP that hasn't really started yet, I'd like to see something out of that too....

I gotta second this. PNRP is honestly the most fun I've ever had in a gmod server, and I honestly blame myself for not getting on as much as I used to.

Hey. Dont worry, have not given up developing PNRP, but have been rather busy with other projects and activities recently. This year has been a pretty busy year, but I do hope to get more done on PNRP over the course of next year.

Current planned work to be done
- Finishing up new models for PNRP
- Tool redux
- Possible food redux (not sure on this one)

To name a few.

Its been mainly me working on the code since Lost has been really busy with RL stuff over the past year.

As for CPRP development? That is still planned, but not soon at the moment.

I am currently tinkering in Unity, and will be taking a look at the Unreal Engine after to get a feel on what engine I want to work in more.
I would also like to get into VR development, but am a bit short on funds to afford the Vive or the Rift with Touch. It would be interesting to develop a stand alone PNRP in VR or a VR version of CPRP. Have also had a few other ideas, but as I said, lack of funds has put those ideas on hold.

Glad to see your still around.

S'been a while. Havent played in so long because last time I checked the server wasn't up. I'm glad to know that TBU's PNRP isn't dead! Been pretty busy myself with orienteering, my team just won the Navy Orienteering Championship Invitational so we're number one in the U.S. Navy and about to head over to Texas for All-Service aka U.S. Nationals. I also like that TwoKinds banner!

but about that banner, the first time I heard about twokinds, it was from someone's banner on a forum, don't remember where, but for all I know it very well could of been you, which is kinda funny and weird at the same time

Server should always be up, baring host issues, or gmod breaking stuff and me having to fix it. Should be up now actually (cant check atm, at work).

As far as the banner, I found that web comic myself not long after they began. Its amazing how the art style has improved over the years.
