At the end of your map construction it is time to place AI nodes.
I noded my entire map using Half Life 2. There is a limit of nodes you can place in a map, it's somewhere around 2000.
As Eldar told me, you must keep in mind that players won't go everywhere in a map, and you can conserve. Try spacing nodes apart in big open areas. Nobody will really notice if you do it correctly.
Load up some of our other maps like gm_postnuke_beta_4, pn_wastedwaters_beta_1, and gm_disaster. And type ai_show_connect 1 into console to see the node grid. Those grids should give you a decent idea on how to conserve. Thanks eldar for the tip! It really helped.
I maxed out my nodes, hitting around 2000. That's okay though, they will all still work perfectly, just can't add any more nodes.
