AI Noding Tutorial

Will update this later on, this is pretty much info I had posted elsewhere.

There is a limit to how many nodes that can be on a map.
To see what how a map is noded use ai_show_connect

Also, to more easly node a map, open the map in Hammer using the Episode 2 option.
Once there, compile the map and make sure the option is set to run the map after compile.
Use the command map_edit [name fo map]
This will load the map and you can add/remove the nodes using the mouse. Right Click - remove / Left Click - add
Then you can use J to rebuild the node graph

Might also be good to have a npc placed on the map as well to use for testing.
Make sure developer is set to 1 in the console
Endable ai using ai_dissable
Make sure you are looking at the npc and then use npc_select
Type in npc_route
Then look target where you want the NPC to go and use the command npc_go

Thats it. It will load the nodes onto the map in hammer as you place/remove them in the engine.

This does not work using the gmod settings, the engine will not load correctly and you can not edit the map after launching into gmod. This will also not affect how the map is loaded into gmod later on, and when your doen you can go back to editing the map with the Hammer gmod settings.
