Changed it's name to pn_downcast. It's currently pn_downcast_p-a4 (pre-alpha version 4).
So far I've added some townhouses with a lot of detail, a cafe, a post office, and there's more to come...
Such as?
-Campground
-Drive-In Theater
-Supermarket
-Underground network of collapsed sewer tunnels and substations that go from one end of the map to the other.
So yeah! THROW ME SOME IDEAS BEETCHES.
Hopefully this map will be done soon!

i exploded.
maybe 3 or 4 times even
but, dem tunnels, maybe have it like a subway? collapsed on both ends of the map so it seemingly goes off into the distance, but was blocked by a cave-in?
and then have controls on the train, and 1 on each side of the map for calling and sending
and building on that idea, maybe have electrified rails, and a maintenance area with all sorts of steampipes and stuff?
you can really get creative with that, but i'll leave it to you ;D
about the theater, maybe have a little projector in the back, that when E'd it runs a sort of makeshift SOS gif from some dead survivors?
have more ideas (maybe), so will post later if more comes to mind

The tunnels will be a network of sewer tunnels and substations, doubt they'd have a subway in the middle of nowhere. But yeah XD.

In the campground, add some junk style beds, meaning those like the Portal prop with the boxes used as a matress.
In the tunnels, add an antlion tunnel like the one from episode 2 so that it adds to the theme. (walking down a sewer tunnel then seeing a broken wall, looking inside to see an antlion-made tunnel that can lead to possibly a hive prop? Also from episode 2)
Make the post office have a fallout shelter in it, usually older goverment buildings have one. The shelter could have a world-owned, locked, door. It would only unlock when a charge is placed on it- and once you break the door down you could see a room that is in absolute mint condition, furnished and maybe it even has a liquor cabinet- I'd think you'd need alot of booze to stay sane while you hear the world end above your head.

i guess that would work, maybe it could work like the ones on omg_city? like, how they only open to a certain degree? do that and set it to 0, so even if it is unlocked, it will not open. but i do like Rahl's ideas

I will think about the episode 2 stuff, and the antlion tunnels and hive. But I doubt I'll make those, had only planned for some sewers and substations as a way to get around the map.
One problem, I don't have portal, so can't see the bed prop lol. I'll still make junk beds though.
Second problem, is that if I do the door thing, where they just won't open, they won't open after you blow them down. So you'll have to blow it down again.

it doesnt have to be a door but only a wall with door texture, and have it so when you blow it down part of the wall goes with it around the door. and then we can just block it up with our own door and have a nice cosy little area.
