So, the Cultivator is a pretty underused class, due to it not being romantic in its use. The Engineer builds guns, the Scientists make armor batteries and turrets. Etc Etc. And the cultivator just makes some food. And on top of that, the selection is a little bit limited... So the idea should be self explanatory. First, there's in the way of the engineers workstations, there's already a prop included in Garry's Mod, being a Stove/Oven. So, the obvious thing to do is make it a craftable item which like the engineers work places, can be activated by cultivators to create more advanced food items. Infact, come to think of it there's also a refridgerator or 2 in there...
Next, if you've played TF2 in the past couple years, you already know that in one form or another, there's ALOT of food or food related items. I'll go ahead and show what I mean.
And this isn't even all of them. SO. What we have is all these various food items modeled in source, all ready for use. AND, with TF2 being free, people would not have to buy a game in order to see these models instead of errors. Squish these 2 things together and the idea is simple. With the use of the Cultivators tools and a workstation, they would be able to make clean, healthy, advanced food for larger resource costs and larger benefits with use. Say... Whip up a nice clean Sandvich, or a big slab of Antlion meat, or just some preserved drinks.
Now, I don't expect there to be any candy items put into the mod... But within this COMPLETELY free game, you see there are alot of already modled and set options available for expanding the cultivators usefulness and longevity.
