I noticed that the engineer requires a workbench and CNC mill to create guns, yet he can still pull gas generators out of his ass, and how scientists can create turrets, fusion and fission reactors, and even make explosives and more without any tool/workstation to help, and not to mention scavengers can scrap together massive miners and other alien tech simply on whim...
In order to balance this, I think each class should have its own workbench/workstation item, or have a separate workstation item which can be created and used by all classes, in order to create certain tools and items. Engineers should still be able to make things like pistols and ammo without help, scientists should still be able to make meds and charges/nades and cultivators already need pots and pans, so we should really balance out the construction system so it is less ridiculous XD
It's not too hard to add an all-class tool which unlocks the rest of the shop menu right?
Just figured it would make more sense- after all: putting together a gun is easier than making a generator, so why should a gun require a bench and not the more difficult stuff?
