Tripmine-
When someone outside of a group tries to access the stockpile they hear a alarm, meaning they have ten seconds to run, try to defuse the bomb...After 10 seconds is up the bomb detonates killing them.

As for the idea, I aprove ;)
Though instead of being specific for containers, It should work like a proximity mine that can have a whitelist/blacklist of players, like a turret.

It was perfectly useful, im keeping the forums from having a bunch of duplicate posts and being messy.

as for the idea, tripmines can be made with E2 and if used correctly can be very effective. adding it in as an actual tool would be too much hassle. BUT saying that, they could use the halflife2 combine tripmine and just make it able to be interacted with to "deactivate" it.
