Saved map settings

I was thinking it might be a good idea to have some way of saving the spawn settings per a map, say for example the admin is too busy to do it manually and changes the map via the console.

I believe he may be referring to the spawn rates of Antlion Mounds and other such variable spawn options?

Do they even reset on map change? I thought they were persistent until a reset.

More or less the spawn settings are persistant no matter map changes or server resets. Sometimes a server restart can reset them back to default.

What I mean is that on some maps we use are large so we need to set the spawns up higher and on others which are smaller they have to bellow the default, it would be nice to have a setting that saves the config so you can get the exact result everything.

oh i get him, as in the zombie count would be higher for larger maps and such.

We had considered it. It's just an artifact of the old ways. Sure, it could be done. Maybe we should too. We'll see. Definitely get Eldar's input on it.
