eeeeh, gravestones seem like a bitch much. i like the body idea much more. instead of bodies disappearing on respawn, why not have the body stay for say, 1-2 minutes

I guess no one pays attention to what happens when you die, not to mention what I allready mentioned.
When you die, you spawn a "death zombie". When you kill it, it allready leaves a dead zombie body. That is the body that you would be looking at. If "Death Zombie" is turned off then your existing body still remains for a while.
Leaving the players body and spawning a death zombie at the same time would not make much since.
