so when you type certain things in chat, your character says them, for instance tpying "reloading" and your character says it.
we all now this, nothing new, but i was wondering if you would have a list of all the things you can type in chat that will say a word. Jamie just found one that we didnt know of thats typing Concentrate. pretty good.

Moving this to suggestions.
Will be changing this up soon so you have to type a command or symbol before the word. Will post the list then.

There is something called chatsoundsforgmod (
http://code.google.com/p/chatsoundsforgmod/) which you might find of interest as well.
My comment on the idea is, watch out for abuse in this though. If someone has access to all these sounds, there's a chance they might just spam the crap out of it.

wouldnt be needed, the current sounds are great how they are and adding anything extra would be pointless.

Our plan is to change the current system to use a command to execute the sound.
example: /me run
Right now it just plays the sound if it finds the existing word in what the player says.

Which is honestly terribly silly. It was a random side item I had added just for giggles. It's a system that honestly needs a wipe and a better method added.

It's not a bad system now, it's quite limited in the things you can say. And maybe not so much a command system. That's too many commands/params to remember.
But how about an alternative menu? Like use C (just an idea) or something and it pops up a dialog box? Or make a swep to do it, like how DarkRP has one for animations, make one for sound?
