Sure, there are the primary classes, Medic(Sci.), Engineer, Tank(wastelander), Scout (scav.), and cook (cult),
But What if there was either a new class, or an upgrade to a class like wastelander, that includes all or some of these traits:
-XP bonus
-Damage bonus
-Endurance bonus
-materials from kill
-less material loss on death
-Bonus to inventory
Consequently though, to keep balance:
-hunger penalty
-scavenge/salvage penalty
-Speed penalty
The class could be something among the lines of:
Veteran, Soldier, Mercenary, etc.

Possibly a class like a Butcher,
-Food bonus (more hunger restored while eating)
-damage bonus
-Antlions & Normal zombies have a chance of dropping anlion or Headcrab roast when killed.
-Penalty to speed, the butcher is fat.

Or a hunter class, that has:
-damage/accuracy bonus
-Antlions & Normal zombies have a chance of dropping anlion or Headcrab roast when killed.
-a sneak/camo ability that makes hunters less unnoticable to npcs while standing still.
-backpacking or speed bonus
-Endurance bonus
-a lure/bait that attracts zombies/antlions for killing.
-penalty to hunger
-penalty to salvage
-penalty to max health, and/or no suit power.
If any of my weapon ideas were noticed, perhaps some of these classes can make them?
