i was on PNRP today, and noticed i constantly place my stockpile just to check the amounts, so i thought, why not just add a resource counter to the community menu, there IS alot of extra room, after all.
maybe you could also add a light or some indication beside each stockpile's button, that would be green if it was placed?
might add more stuff later.
