Tainted Food

Hello.

I believe that there should be a way to poison a food item (such as can o beans) and then when someone eats the poisoned food item they lose health slowly until they take an antidote or die.

thats kinda a terrible idea, cause i could totally throw a bunch of free food out that poisoned noobs and such.

A better idea would be:

when you kill a zombie, it has a 20% chance or so to drop a headcrab roast, which has a 50% chance of being poisoned, and doesnt give as much hp as a normal roast


Just my idea combined with yours :D

We plan on making hunting a large part of the game later on, and monsters will drop raw foods and other such inventory items. They will have a chance to poison you if you don't get it prepped by a cultivator (cans of beans will still be cookable by all). You will also need these raw foods to cook any better foods. Will be a nice system (that adds some excitement) for the cultivator and others.
